Dr Joel Bate
Dr Bate is an INDEPENDENT MEDICAL PRACTITIONER who works from our rooms.
Joel is a graduate of the University of New England in 2015. He grew up on a rural property in the Far North Coast, NSW and has a strong rural and remote focus.
He has completed additional training in critical care, having completed a Master of Medicine(Critical Care) for the University of Sydney and the Emergency Medicine Certificate form the Australasia College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
Dr Bate has an interest in all areas of general practice, with particular emphasis on lifestyle modification and preventative medicine. Emergency medicine is also an ongoing interest.
He has settled in to the Townsville area and is looking forward to using his skills and experience to support the Bushland Beach and surrounding communities.
Dr Bate achieved his fellowship in 2024 and is now a member of the RACGP.
