Dr Lucia Rajnoch
Dr Lucia Rajnoch is returning to Bushland Beach Medical Centre on Thursday 12th February and will be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Dr Rajnoch is an INDEPENDENT MEDICAL PRACTITIONER who works from our rooms.
Dr Lucia Rajnoch grew up in Slovakia, graduated medicine from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia and completed her specialist training in the Czech Republic. After moving to Australia in 2011, she worked in a number of Sydney hospitals before moving to Townsville and completing her GP training in 2021, becoming an RACGP fellow.
Since 2022 she worked as a GP in Bushland Beach and Balgal Beach Medical Centres, and as a rural Senior Medical Officer in locations such as Magnetic Island, Hughenden, Charters Towers and Ingham. In 2025 she completed advanced specialised training in paediatrics at Townsville University Hospital. Lucia's special interests as a GP are paediatrics, skin cancer diagnosis and management including excisions, pain management including joint and soft tissue steroid injections, mental health, palliative medicine and rural emergency medicine.
Outside of work Lucia enjoys family time. With her husband and two high school aged boys she likes travelling to swimming meets and hiking. She enjoys cooking, running, swimming and playing piano.
